Tempering stations (TS) provide heating and cooling of process water to the required value for several circuits of technological line, according to specific requirements (for forming and extrusion lines, rubber industry e.g. calanders, extruders, mixers, kneaders ,…). The unit is controlled by Siemens control system.
Individual circuits of tempering station are placed together on common frame. Each station`s circuit contains a heating circuit using electrical inserts and a cooling circuit with water-water plate heat exchanger. The cooling water inlet and outlet is common for all circuits. An electromagnetic water treatment device is located on cooling water supply to individual modules. At the outlet of cooling water from plate type heat exchanger there is a control valve with actuator, which together with control system ensures cooling of the process water to the required temperature.
Pressure keeping and water expansion in technological circuit are common for individual circuits and are designed as follows:
- Expansion membrane vessel
- Refilling water to TS is provided from cooling water circuit or from a separated source of treated water through solenoid valve. The refilling value is set on pressure regulator
- Safety valve with appropriate opening pressure
The whole technological equipment of the station is designed for max. temperature of 95°C and max. pressure of 0.8 MPa. Technological equipment is equipped with a primer paint under insulation and a top coat. Technological circuit of the station is isolated. Device can be made with covers if required.
