Real-time control and monitoring of thermal units

TEDIS provides a number of tools for real-time control and monitoring of technological units. The system displays a technology diagram with the possibility to control and view all inputs and outputs, alarms, data processing in the form of graphs and clear tables in real time. It enables clear and simple administration of time schedules for individual heat and air handover stations. The geographical location of the stations is drawn on a clear map with the possibility to search for the objects and display information about them. The system also displays the GPS coordinates of the selected station on the map, which in many cases will make it easier for service technicians who are not familiar with the location on their journeys. The great advantage of this system is its maximum flexibility, which makes it possible to adapt the system to a specific implementation. TEDIS currently manages and monitors stations in various sectors such as heating plants, hospitals, industrial plants, boiler rooms…

Power plant management

TEDIS is also being developed for the purpose of power plant management. An important implementation in this area is the control and monitoring of 9MW turbines of Eustream, a.s. in Slovakia as a subsidiary of SPP, a.s. The system also provides communication of compression stations with the central dispatching center for natural gas transport in the Slovak Republic.

¼ Hourly maximum control

One of the possible applications of the TEDIS system enables the supervision and monitoring of electricity consumption with the possibility of entering the maximum permitted consumption by setting priorities of individual switching branches with the possibility to set the switching time parameters.

Energy balance in heat management

This module of the TEDIS system enables transparent display of energy balances in the heat management in the form of tables and graphs. The tables show hourly consumption, from which daily and hourly amounts are subsequently calculated. This module provides a powerful tool for well-arranged balance monitoring and preparation of readings in heat management.

Energy balance processing in heat management

This module is used for more detailed processing of energy balances in heat management. Allows you to compare values with archived values. The result of the comparison is color-coded, allowing quick orientation in the output information. Another function of this module is to generate text outputs of selected comparisons with the possibility of sending the generated outputs by e-mail to defined addresses. This module enables direct connection to the superior database billing system and data export to this system, which fully automates the billing process and makes the work of the economic department easier and more efficient and, above all, eliminates the possibility of error caused by human factor failure.

Reports

This module enables data export from TEDIS system to parameterized MS Excel spreadsheets. Documents are optimized and graphically prepared so that they can be printed and used immediately for invoicing purposes. Reports are easily customizable, allowing customized reports to be customized. Reports can be enriched with various mathematical, analytical and graphical functions as required.

Automatic generation and sending of reports via e-mail

This module enables automatic generation of reports (parameterized print reports in MS Excel) and subsequent automatic sending by e-mail to the default users. All generation and sending parameters are easily editable via a clear user diagram.

Sending fault conditions via SMS

This module of the TEDIS system enables sending of fault states from the TEDIS system via SMS via the GSM modem. It is possible to set up several recipients of SMS messages, and with the help of a simple user interface it is possible to define which fault states should be automatically sent to the respective recipients. The module is suitable especially for realization without continuous supervision of the worker, as in case of failure it will be notified by SMS message.

TEDIS redundancy for critical applications

TEDIS allows full redundancy for critical applications. Many today's systems are typical, and sometimes necessary, 24-hour operation 365 days a year, but it is not easy to provide. Given the fact that each device has a certain lifetime and failure rate, these factors need to be addressed. One alternative is to use redundancy, backup.
Redundant systems are designed using multiple copies of the same resource (eg, logical network or software module). The introduction of redundancy increases the operational reliability of the system. The classic understanding of a redundant system is one work system and another (or more) system that awaits ready and will fully replace it in the event of a work system failure.

TEDIS provides several types of redundancy:

- application server redundancy
For application server redundancy, TEDIS consists of two or more application servers

- redundancy of communication routes
Redundancy of communication paths enables to increase the security of communication between selected devices and TEDIS server

- redundancy of archiving
Using redundancy of archiving reduces the likelihood of loss of archival data or interruption of continuous archiving.

Diagnostics

This TEDIS module provides fast access to and overview of live server running, processor, disk, memory, process and archive usage. Provides a preview of network topology showing the communication status of network devices. It serves as a powerful tool for supervision and diagnostics of the whole TEDIS system.
