Tempering stations (TS) provide heating and cooling of process water to the required value according to parameters of technological line (for forming and extrusion lines, rubber industry,…). The unit is controlled by a regulator, which provides regulation of circulating water`s temperature.
Temperature control units (TCU) are designed as compact units containing a heating and cooling circuit, including a control system in cabinet. They are equipped with wheels for easier handling. The heating of process water is provided by electrical inserts into pipeline. The cooling of process water is pressure-independent via water-water plate heat exchanger. The circulation of process water between TCU and process equipment of forming machine is ensured by a high-pressure rotary pump.
Pressure keeping and water expansion in technological circuit are ensured by expansion vessel and a safety valve. After releasing the plug there is possible immediate reduction of operating pressure of the station. That is an advantage if TS quickly disconnected from the forming machine. Water supply to the process equipment has a separate inlet with filter and automatic refill valve.
There is an electromagnetic valve placed on cooling water inlet. Based on the monitored temperature of process circuit, this valve ensures, in cooperation with control system, the cooling of process water to the required value.
